Art Therapy

Eventually there will be many photos of my favorite projects (ones that i created over the last five years, up until now). Mostly, it will be the most recent starting at the top.

My SIL asked for a wall decal for my nephew's bedroom with the Irish saying "Tada Gan Iarracht", which roughly means "nothing without effort" This is what I came up with!

These three chickies were made during 1/15/09 and 1/19/09

Around December 2nd or 3rd, I made these for family for Christmas, and those that I do not have homes for, I will try to sell.

Here is Mr. Big Nose. I was thinking of a temporary name so I could save the file and come back to it. The name just stuck.

Here you can see some of my b/w photography

From my new ultra-cool craft book, my first creation is a set of light switch and outlet covers decorated individully, with a theme of food. This will be a house warming gift for my SIL and BIL since they just moved in not quite a week ago. I think they turned out great, and I hate to see them go. I will have to make my own since her numbers and types do not match my layout.

Mini gift boxes, they will be just the right size for giving my jewelry as gifts and whatnot.

Here are photos of some of the "Welcome Baby" and Valentine's Day cards I have made:

This is Norman-- I started crocheting him in November of '06, and he is now finally completed in April '08.

The blogger from http://www.12robots.com is in need of robots, twelve of them to be exact.

Here are some of them:

Our Entire downstairs is painted a tan, with deep red accent walls. I made these coasters and trivets, and then a table runner to go along with that color theme. We have guests over every other weekend or so, and it will be nice to have something to use other than mis-matched plates, towels and whatever is handy and/or clean.

Here is the scrapbook I created for my mom. I then made a copy, and sent it to my MIL. Lots and lots of work involved. Makes me glad I'm not crazy into scrapbooking. This was for each of their birthdays. I got the idea from a friend of mine that sells scrapbook supplies. Hmm, maybe she just wanted me to buy stuff from her.

My new baby nephew needs a quilt, doesn't he?!? I made this one with the help of my mom over one weekend! It surprised both of us that it went so quickly. BIL and SIL absolute love it!

This is the necklace i made for Sarah (sister #2--- this is in age, not favorite) for Christmas 07, they are glass beads with a silver peice that can hold a small photo-- so it's all ready for a nice little picture of her favorite sister Wink

Here is an anklet I made for Rachel (sister #1) for her birthday, they are glass beads, and have a stretchy chord to allow some room. I saw these little fishie beads, and had to have them. I sat and sat and tried different things to get them to work with what I wanted, but they didn't cooperate. After I decided on an anklet, I was determined to finish it as a Christmas present. I ran out of time, so it quickly became a birthday present. I'm sure glad her b-day is not so far out, it's just the beginning of Febuary.

I drew this on 1/12/08
